These terms are the agreement between you and {OPERATOR_NAME} (“we”, “us”), who runs Builder Profile. By creating an account or publishing a profile you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
The service
Builder Profile lets you build a public profile from widgets — projects, numbers, charts, goals, achievements and updates — style it, and share its link. The service is in early access: features will change, and some may be added, removed or limited.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Builder Profile.
- One person, one account. Sign in with your email, or with Google or X once those options are available.
- Keep access to your email and sign-in accounts safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Your handle
Your handle is your profile address. Some handles are reserved for the site itself. We may change or take back a handle that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or misleads people, and we will tell you if we do.
Your content
- You own what you add — text, numbers, links and images. You give us permission to store it, show it on your profile, and make preview images and cards from it (for example the card X shows when your link is shared), only to run and promote the service. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others already shared.
- You must have the right to publish everything you add.
- Your numbers must be honest. Numbers you type in are shown as entered by you. Don’t publish figures you know are false or made to mislead people, and don’t present them as verified.
- Published profiles are public. Don’t publish anything you want to keep private.
What you must not do
- Pretend to be another person or company.
- Publish anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that shares someone else’s private information.
- Use your profile for scams, spam, malware or misleading financial claims.
- Try to break into the service, other accounts, or our providers; overload the service; or scrape it in bulk.
We may hide content or suspend accounts that break these rules. When we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. To report a profile, write to {CONTACT_EMAIL} with its address.
“Made with” link
Free profiles show a small “Made with Builder Profile” link. Please don’t hide or remove it.
Price
Builder Profile is free right now. We may offer paid features later. We will never charge you without your clear agreement, and if a feature you use becomes paid, we will tell you in advance.
Integrations
Connecting services such as Stripe to fill in numbers automatically is planned but not live yet. When it launches it will be optional and read-only, and these terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated first.
Ending your account
You can stop using Builder Profile at any time and delete your account yourself in Settings, or ask us to by writing to {CONTACT_EMAIL}. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or stop the service altogether; if we stop the service, we will give you notice by email first.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Builder Profile running, but we provide it “as is”, without promises that it will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. We don’t check the numbers people publish and are not responsible for decisions anyone makes based on them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. For important changes we will tell you by email before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
